Mentoring the world in Photography and Video Production

Having met Cedric earlier this year on one of our video and photography productions in Nakivale with Rotary International, I was fascinated with this hardworking young man’s zeal to produce videos. Just to let you know, Nakivale is one of the oldest and biggest refugee settlements in Uganda. The settlement is located 60km from Mbarara through Isingiro District in Western Uganda.

Nakivale is full of young people like you and me but with less chances to see their dreams come true.

Mentoring makes a difference, especially for refugees

The benefits of mentoring are myriad. For individuals, studies show that good mentoring can lead to greater career success, including promotions, raises, and increased opportunities. Lets talk about increasing opportunities, Young people in refugee settlements have less opportunities than their counterparts, and its therefore the biggest reason we want to make this world a better place by supporting refugees like Cedric
