MUSERUKA EMMANUEL TAKES HOME TWO TITAN WARDS FROM CEO GLOBAL

It was a glamorous evening at Serena Hotel Kampala for yet another award giving ceremony from CEO Global. The event was mean’t to celebrate and appreciate the regional and country titans from various sectors for the year 2019/20. I was presented with two awards in the Media sector in the country category – Uganda and the regional category in the Great Lakes Region.

The Journey

It began in April 2019 when Emmanuel received an e-mail from CEO Global about his nominations.

Emmanuel adds, “Well, the nomination never excited me but my wife; Juliet Mirembe made it feel special. she prompted me for about one and a half months. Along with several reminder mails from CEO Global. Sadly, she had passed on before celebrating with us at Malaika Media upon receiving the two awards.

The event

The award ceremonies weren’t the type that bragged of larged numbers but possessed a professionally intimate aura. The free interaction between various CEOs and aspiring titans made the event worth the time. Getting to share ideas and engage in discussions on various societal topics was a topping to what was growing into a captivating event.

Listening to the many titans speak was such an insightful experience that motivated those in attendance to pick a leaf from their ideas in order to better their own establishments.

I was particularly humbled upon receiving my award from CEO Global which was accompanied by a platform for my acceptance speech. It’s been a journey that has been blessed by God, the support of my late wife and the Malaika Media team who have been with me all through the journey – Emmanuel.

More news was around the corner as Emmanuel got nominated for the continental award in the media category. The milestones keep coming which is all testament to the hard work put in to this point. Fingers crossed for the awards in South Africa – March 2020.
